About Bechef
Igreenlife is a start-up company headquatered in Vietnam.
Igreenlife's mission is to build online cooking community that anybody can find the inspiration for their daily foods, share the recipes or discover the healthy diet.
Working closely with Igreenlife's CEO and the current IT team, Detekso set about building a logo that reflects the company business & brand personality and applying a user-centric methodology to produce a modern, engaging mobile application. that would engage users and simplify discovering or creating recipes process.

Challenge
As a new company to enter such a very competitive market, Igreenlife's challenge is how to gain strong position in customer mindset when thinking about cooking community.
With a view to building a positive brand image, Igreenlife has engaged Detekso to assist with the creation of company logo and the Bechef mobile application (for both iOS and Android version).

Design
Branding A new company journey starts with a new logo
The logo was designed with the motto "Anybody can become a chef". In order to reflect this motto, chef hat, which is a popular image when thinking about the chef, was used to create the familiarity to all users. Green color with smiling eye brown was utilised to create the impression of healthy, friendly, of the brand traits.
UX/UI Design
User Experience is targeted to be one of the competitive advantage of the application. As a result, before jumping into the design, we have made an analysis on the business goals & the target users, who are mostly the youngsters and have interest in cooking.
A thorough research was conducted to understand the current competitors' application on the market. All of these was the foundation for us to create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes. They give our designers and clients the ability to rapidly prototype ideas and functionality before moving to development phase.

Develop
The mobile application was built using React Native, which support for both iOS and Android platform. It helps to provide smooth and responsive user interface, while significantly reducing loading time.
React Native is a cost effective solution without the need to compromise on quality and functionality.
Momo was integreated to support for Payment activities.
