Founded in 2016, GoohYeah's mission is to build online platform that connects people with local business around them.
Goohyeah provides a modern, user-friendly platform for owners to showcase their business online while creating a place for consumers to discover business around them and share everyday local experiences through reviews, tips, photos and videos.

Discover
A key driver for success was the need to work collaboratively with the client — something we welcome and encourage. We began with a comprehensive business analysis to understand the GoohYeah’s vision, goals, opportunities and investigate its competitors. Afterwards, we work closely with customer to define the scope, build intuitive user journeys and interaction processes. This foundation work was then used to drive the design and development process.
Design
Based on our insight about business goals & user needs of GoohYeah, we come up with the interactive wireframe, User Interface Design and front-end development. The application was designed in a way to ensure the seamless behavior for end-users to discover business around them or provide review/comment easily.
Design System is used to ensure the consistency among design elements to deliver better usability and reflect corporate brand personality - young, active, simple.
Develop
A range of technologies were put to use throughout the project.
The mobile application was built using React Native.
The web application was built based on Loopback Framework (Extensible NodeJS and TypeScript) (Back-end), AngolarJS (Front-end) and MySQL powered the database.
Artificial Inteligence was applied to provide the best search result output. Solr, which is highly reliable, scalable and fault tolerant, providing distributed indexing, replication and load-balanced querying, automated failover and recovery, centralized configuration and more was used to support for seamless search behavior.
